>hey anon why are you always so quiet and never talk to people
Is there any reason why this seems to be a commonality among internet introversion, yet, still only in my early-thirties, I've never had one person ask me this or even pay attention?
What's it like to have people actually notice you?

Suffocating after a certain point.
Every time I open my mouth I speak nonsense and I stutter and make a fool of myself.

I know I'm not directly answering your question, but this came up off the top of my head for some reason.
I now proudly call myself ambivert these days (used to be super introverted, now am a bit of both extro and intro). Looking from the extroverted side of things - weigh up what is better, making lots of connections or few connections. Optimially, the answer is lots. So, when one person requires a lot of attention to start connecting with - its just a drain. Extroverts don't hate introverts, they love both extroverts and introverts equally, its just that if we spend more time with one person, that prevents us from spending time with multiple people.
