So pic related who used to date my friend is stuck at a halfway house in Philidelphia and asked me for a ride to Poughkeepsie NY to be with dad (who I guess cant drive). Besides a twenty minute phone call last night and the fact she used to date my friend I barely know her and shes never given me the time of day. Now she has no one and is hoping Ill make the 5 hour journey to get her home. Im considering doing it even though I get nothing from it, just for the adventure. Would you take a 5 hour trip for a girl you barely know just out of boredom?

Yeah. I have issues with codependency/caretaking/a hero complex/a "helpfulness" identity, so doing an over the top favor is a bit of an ego trip for me.

So it's a 10 hour round trip, for a girl you have no friendship with, and will never see again because you're leaving her at the place that's 5 hours away. No its a 2.5 hour trip, 5 hour round trip, and I live near her dad. So we could potentially see each other once shes back but we've never really 'clicked' in the past and im not sure we would now.
