Don't stop being a nice person. Them being assholes to you goes against everything you stand for, so I would just point it out to them that they're being assholes. "Don't worry about it man. If I had a face like your I'd be pissed off too". If that kind of shit doesn't come naturally to you then you should treat them the same way your consvience treats you when you're acting like an asshole. What would your conscience say to YOU for that? Say that to them.

A lot of people are gonna tell you to just do it but I think the best advice is the truth. Standing up for yourself is hard if you haven't done it before. You're going to be a blubbering mess when you start to do it, too. Pot is doing a lot to inhibit you but you don't need to quit, I still smoke a bowl every 20-60 minutes. Don't focus on achieving equilibrium on drugs, this is really unhealthy behavior. Achieve peace of mind with your thoughts, then do the drugs anyway to appease your addiction. This keeps you focused on what you're about beyond the drugs.

Or you know you can quit I guess, kill all the birds with one stone.
