I want to become more articulate and well-spoken but i'm worried that people might perceive me as being pseudo-intellectual.
How do i know if i'm doing it right? How do i tell the difference?
Having an evocative and colorful vocabulary works wonders. Use adjectives, images, metaphors...instead of abstract words. Don't explain, tell a story.
Reads lots and lots of books. Very important.
The moment you can communicate relatively complex ideas (or really, just make others understand what you're saying) without coming across as a pseudo-intellectual is the moment you are articulate and well-spoken.
