What do you mean? "Learn IF statements but not WHILE"? Learn everything.

Most useful coding skill is to understand what you are doing. When you know how to think like coder it's pretty easy to change between languages

Either go Web design (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) or Java. Java is the most used programming language, and Web design is fairly easy to learn, so either should get you something
