Also, oftentimes when we meet someone who could be a potential partner, if our own relationship has its problems, we can easily become infatuated with this new person. We only see the good aspects of them, and the bad aspects of our partner, and we can't help but compare the two. You gotta ask yourself: Why did you cheat? In the end, you were the one who made the decision to search for a solution outside of your relationship instead of working on things with your partner, so I'm not asking you to try and justify what you did because you can't really justify or excuse it.
