I was a real weirdo in high school and alienated everyone because of the weird shit I did. I'm still haunted by it at 23 and I feel like it's going to forever follow me wherever I go, even though I've since straightened out and moved hundreds of miles away. I feel like any and all friends and romantic prospects are eventually going to find out about it because they'll wonder why I never speak of high school or keep in touch with anyone from it. If not that, I fear they will hear things through the grapevine because everyone is so connected today. This has made me increasingly isolated.
Am I being paranoid and blowing things out of proportion? Or will I just have to learn to live with it?

Yes. Just don't even worry about it. If anyone asks about it, just say you had a rough time in high school.

1. Nobody knows about your past and very few would be interested in finding out.
2. Everybody has embarrassing skeletons in their high school past. Everybody.

Honestly OP, nobody cares about it. I don't keep in touch with anyone from high school and am not planning on going to any reunions.
Don't let your past hold you back, continue to improve yourself - keep moving forward.

No one actually liked high school. Everyone hated themselves.
