Two questions on credit.
>how can i get an increase on my limit?
I have had my card for two years. Am i supposed to automatically get an increase, or do i need to approach my bank (Bank of America). Right now its $1000 limit.
>is this a decent way to increase credit rating?
My general spending habits every month are
>pay $120 phone on time
>pay $200 insurance on time
>pay $100+ on credit card on time
>pay $200 storage facility on time
>pay $50+ on random auto charges like netflix or PS4

You have to apply for a credit increase. Sometimes they will offer them to you but more often than not you actually have to apply for them.
My personal advice is to keep it at $1000. I have two $2000 credit cards maxed out. It just happens so fucking fast. They're evil and designed to take your money.
If you really want to build credit get yourself a car loan. They really help when you go to get yourself a mortgage.
call them and ask for a credit increase
obviously you're putting < 30% of your credit limit on your card and paying it in full each month, right OP?
if you asked your bank they'de probably give you one provided your payment history is good. mine gets randomly bumped up every like 2 years. I think I've heard that if you are only using a small percentage of your limit then they wont feel inclined to raise it.

BofA has a website. Omg what? Yes they have a website where you can view your account. Really? Yay! You can login and view ypur cresit statements, but also you can ask for a cresit increase by clicking on "request a increase of credit". Holy hell thats great. Hiw do i do it?
Damnit login and request it, its a soft pull on ypur credit report.
