Has anyone here taken an online class at their uni or college needing the use of respondus lockdown browser for exams?
This shit is intrusive as fuck, and I don't want it on my computer, but the class says its mandatory. I've taken classes before that say they use it, and never used it. However this specific class has it plastered everywhere, but as far as I can see, I can just take the test anyways.
Is there a way around this, or should I just say fuck it and take it without the "special browser" and webcam.

doesn't work in vm environments for some reason. the browser just doesn't load, and the official statement is that it "knows"

just change the hardware ids to real ones of assign real hardware with iommu to the vm. that way there's no way of knowing that it's a vm

never tried that before, but I'll give that a go tomorrow when I wake up. worse comes to worse I drive to the testing center for the university.
