Become successful. Cut all contact with him. Send him a letter explaining that you are successful despite not, and not because of him, and that the next time you see him it will be when you're pissing on his grave.

You would just be giving him more reason to be an ass to you if you go this route. Learn to move on from it and become a better person. Like the other anon said, the best revenge is living a good life without the person.
