Anyone got any advice on taking profile pictures? I don't

Profile pictures that aren't you is kinda cringey desu.
Don't be ashamed of who you are.

Not recommended unless you are objectively good-looking.

If you have nothing else, it can work.

>Picture if you with a pet or animal
This will be seen as cute or lame depending on the kind of person you are.

>Picture of something that isn't you
This is seen as pathetic unless you are extremely attractive (in which case you will be perceived as humble).

>Picture taken of you by someone else where you are casually enjoying a social activity
This is ideal.

>Selfie taken in your room with poor lighting
This is pathetic no matter the circumstances.

This is what family (and especially siblings) are for. Ask them to take a good picture of you. No one has to know it was them.

It's kind of lame, but a good profile picture if pretty important in this day and age. It's the first impression you'll make on a lot of people.
