some of those things are going to contradict each other unfortunately. namely getting invited back, which hinges on the courtesy of notice, and not getting kicked out early, which hinges on them finding out now.

make a choice. frankly if they are rude enough to throw you out i wouldnt risk it. just wait til the day of and get outta there. sucks you might not get that christmas dinner but it sounds like that might happen even if you tell them now. its not like they'd kick you out then get back for christmas.

I was raised Christian. After 12 I started to form my own opinions. And 13 got kicked out of vocation bible school for pointing out contradictions in the bible, eventually giving up religion. Ill go back, as soon as these religious zealots can prove god exists with more than " every thing is made by god" b.s..

Religion is the lie... If they can't accept you for who you are, they were never really family in the first place.
An alternative is give an ultimatum (rarely works with non religious zealots). Tell them you are either gonna be gay, or be Muslim. Accept me for who I am, or ill become a terrorist.
Worked for a friend, but he was just coming out to his parents.

I think religion is important for sociaty to remain homogeneous

It may not be for me,but it is a valuable perspective for living a life without fear of death.

I learned a lot of good things from the Bible,but some things i took from it they would disagree with...one being that sin should be used as a tool to manipulate people in order to succeed.

Religion is the root of all evil. Look at Muslims, the crusades(Christians), Hitler etc. Etc. Etc.
Let it go, you're life will only get better.
I'm not saying don't believe in something bigger than yourself just don't put faith in that which will stab you in the back, every chance it gets.
Believing in something larger than yourself is key. Be it a higher power, a massive project you and xxx number of other people are working on, or even a love life ( takes 2 and that's more than just you).
As Christians, they have to accept you. It goes against their beliefs to abandon you, especially as family, no matter your life choices. Which brings me back to my original point.
IF they Can't accept you for who you are then they never really were your family in the first place. So go find "family" that does accept you for, well, you.
They will either get over it, or lose you completely. That's their choice, either be ignorant or accepting. What's Christianity view on acceptance? Abondining family?
Who gave them the right to judge you? I thought only god could do that...
