I tried that, in 2013. Walked 8 miles to the freeway. Only way onto it is the onramp for cars. The grassy area around it is fenced off. On my way to the last 20ft of onramp uncle stops and tazers me. I wake up 8 hours later in mental health facility. They decide I don't need to be there and release me. Bring me home in mental health van. Doors only open from outside. Can't jump from moving vehicle on freeway. Failed, again.

Fuck man, sounds harsh. Yeah, Patreon might work. A lot of people ask on fundme for a one-time crowd funded donation for an operation, but if you want a steady flow Patreon might be the best bet. If you can come up with something creative to give back to your donaters, they'all see you less like a charity case and more like a creator that can make their money's worth.
It can be something low-taxing and easy to do like a vlog or a podcast, I'm sure you have plenty of things to talk about.
