How much of a mistake would it be if I were to casually ask my relatively close female friend of 2 years "hey would you be up to fuck"?
I don't think she'd get all awkward about it as she generally has a laid back, aloof, whatever personality. She's also joked (pretty sure she was joking at least, I didn't pursue) in the past by saying "hahaha why don't we just fuck dude :)" when we were talking about my kissless virgin status, we talk about sex shit every now then and both want to try out bdsm. I wouldn't kill myself over her saying no, just don't wanna have some strained, awkward friendship just because I asked

Anyway, besides the flirting as advised by someone else in the thread (which is imo a good advice), what you also might do is wait for an appropriate moment such as late in the night and just plainly confess that you're really horny, not sure what to do about it, feeling somewhat bad about it, but also feeling like hiding it and pretending like nothing is going on would be dishonest ... and, you know, talk about it honestly like adults. It's natural, after all.
