It's racist, but it's one of those things that puts you on the lower end of the spectrum of racism. It's a step above being unwilling to date a black girl but not as severe as going around thinking black people are genetically inferior or any other /pol/ memes. I don't buy into the idea that if you have one single 'racist' thought then you're up there with the Klan and Hitler.

I think you'll fine there are a LOT of women who are unwilling to date black men simply because many of the stereotypes are true to a degree. Does that make them racist? Maybe, but it's not that much different than if they were uninterested in dating a blonde haired guy or preferred men over 6 feet. It's a preference more than anything.

I think it would depend on what kind of black person she was previously with. If she was with a mcdonalds commercial black guy, vs tyrone the welfare king, then i think thats a big distinction in what she wants. Either way as long as you are not crazy paranoid about it (aka forever doubting whether your girlfriend REALLY never slept with a black man) this won't really impact your life.
