How do I become braver?
I want to be able to step in when shit's going down. I want to know to talk back and put people in their place.
Been to martial arts a few years, was attacked and reacted enough times to know O have the skill for it.
But in my mentality, I'm a coward. How do I improve this?

Just do it, really. If you are afraid it will seem like it will be 10 times worse than it will TRULY be. For example a punch, stab, etc will hurt less than your mind will make it out to be.
For example I was once beaten up by a friend who was overall a better fighter than me. Taller, faster, in that sense. It didn't hurt one bit because I was angry.
I once accidentaly cut myself badly and bleed a lot. It didn't hurt a tenth as much as I would assume before that it would.

Thing is, my first reflex is to cower away or stay silent.
I can probably do it if I have enough preparation for a specific event but I'm talking about when I'm unprepared for it.
What do you mean by brave? What situations? What are you scared of?
