Can I go to the ER for depression and anxiety? It's getting worse and worse and I can't suppress it anymore

If you're at risk of hurting yourself right now, then yes they'll stop you from doing so. But if you want something long term, you'd be wasting your time there.

You can, but they could put you in a psych facility. It happened to me. I wanted zoloft or something, that's it. Didn't have a doctor, so went to a random clinic first. Rather than write a script, they told me to go to ER/hospital where they have a psychologist. So, I did because I really wanted something to help. They put me away for a week or so. They only let me go when my insurance stopped paying (there was a cap to mental health stays, and boy were they sure to milk it). It was traumatic, honestly.
If you're really on the edge, by all means go to an ER. If you just want a little help, find a psychiatrist, or possibly start with your primary physician.
