Happiness is not for everyone. I have meet people that had the same problems after years of therapy and medication because none of those methods are designed to help you for more than 3 months (supposing that you have the right meds).
If you are having a bad time (temporal problem), it works, but there are people that have been dealing with that shit for most of their lives, so you should at least respect their decision. You can't force people to be alive because you don't own them.
