My laptop is breaking down (overheating due to fucked fan, fucked battery, half of the USB ports don't work, headphone port doesn't work, screen has vertical lines) and I'm saving up money to buy a new one. I'd fix this one but I already tried to fix it a bunch of times and it just breaks something else a few months later, already replaced the fan like two times, already replaced the keyboard. So, since this one is like 10 years old, I'm figuring I'd just buy a new one and get it over with.
What are some good cheap laptops? I'd build my own PC but I really need a laptop due to uni and shit. Plus, I'm not too big on gaming, as long as the laptop can run most recent games on at least min settings, it's fine by me. My current one can't run anything older than 2013.
Pic related is my laptop. As long as I buy something better for a good price, I'm good.
I had a Pavilion a few years ago, the entire series is notorious for this shit, they're truly pieces of shit
