>Taking... Something in spring semester
>Still maybe 3-4 years left in school (mostly because of math)
>Not working at the moment (financial aid)
>Trying to replace unproductive fun habits like video games and movies with computer related activities and fun learning

It won't be nearly as profitable at first but I want to try to start working as a programmer by next summer to help myself through school

This seems better than the alternative of getting a minimum wage job in a field completely unrelated to what I want to be doing in the long term even if I'm making dirt money at first

General advice and tips are welcomed
Should I try to do more 'fun' projects that aren't class related?
During winter break, will it be better for me to start looking into Android app making, or windows apps with a GUI, or is it better to study something more along the lines of algorithms and logic?

Any tips is much appreciated
