What's your definition of "cheating"?
On my ex's birthday I bought her a tattoo as a gift ($400+), the whole day I felt weird. Like this birthday marked a change in her. That night in our room I watched a movie while I waited patiently for her to come to bed. We were both drunk and she was giggling in the corner on the floor. No big deal, I thought. She passed out and I opened her phone to see texts from some guy she met on instagram. She was acting coy and flirting, calling him baby. Her explanation was that she was drunk and that it wasn't cheating and that she "calls everyone baby because she doesn't want to misgender anyone" which is fucking stupid. I also found out she has what people call a "finsta" which is a fake instagram.
Everyone but me followed it and she would post nudes and long rants complaining about how shit I was. She doubled down and is now seeing that same guy.
I don't know what to do about anything now. I think it's cheating but she insists it's not. Can I ask for the money for the tattoo back? I'm blocked on anything and I'm too afraid to make a fake account because of how she reacts to things I'm upset about

It was cheating or the precursor to cheating and she made a fool out of you and got a free tattoo from a guy she totally disrespected and its clear she don't give two shits what you think either. Run and don't look back and just consider that $400 the cost of a valuable lesson.
