Just in case someone needs the reminder:
FIxating on a single phrase from months ago is, in itself, pretty damn weird. If you are really good friends and it's a recurring joke, fine, sure. But getting hung up on something that someone said once can look like you are trying to force closeness or intimacy when there is none.
But it also depends on the contents of the joke itself. Maybe she just didn't want that on her wall.
