Hey y'all.
Been dating this girl for a while and she was telling me a story on about how she was out clubbing and a friend had his lesbian friend with him who kept hitting on the girl I'm seeing. She said it was all so funny, she bought her drinks and then she added "well she wasn't even that bad, I even started to consider it" which she kinda said jokingly, so I joked along asking if she was for real, she laughed and nodded.
So it's a story from way back before I met her. Why is this topic slightly triggering me from the inside? I was dating bi girl who blurred out in a bad argument that I'm making her want to go back to women, which kinda hurt that time - could that be the cause? As I said, this story happened some time ago, she was young, I don't see how there should be any issues, but why the hell does it come up in my mind? I'm morning homophobic or anything, I get that in the right situation and condition, the same gender can seem appealing and all. Is it a lack of confidence or something more? I don't know...

You feel threatened because you fear that she really could ditch you for a layyydie and now you're trying to process the fact that you might have to compete with whole other group of people to be adequate for her. I don't think this is an unreasonable thing to feel intimidated by. Let it go for now. Keep note of how often she brings it up. If it seems like she's using it as a pressure point, you might need to contend with that. I can't give you any further advice. I haven't had to deal with this problem in particular.
