Anon, I've been in your position. Too afraid to call someone to handle a thing that was becoming a real problem.

Let me say that not doing it makes things get so much worse. It's scary, but you gotta do it. And you can.

Psych yourself up however works. You can also use pic related to help yourself calm down. Set a time that you're going to do it, preferably with an alarm. Rehearse what you're going to say, write it down if you need to. Tell your friends that you're going to do it. Have them ask you to make sure you are doing it at the designated time. Make yourself accountable.

Then take a deep breath, pick up the phone, and do it. You can. It's scary, and it won't be easy, but you can.
