>tfw birthday coming up
>i have no friends
>spend every birthday like it's a normal day
>do nothing special for it
what do I tell people if they ask how I spent my birthday? or what gifts I received from family and friends?

Nobody will ask, anon

people have asked before, not about gifts, but if I did anything special

get ahead of the game. contact the people who would normally ask you what you did for your birthday and invite them to your house for a party, or to a restaurant for a meal, or to laser tag to play laser tag.

Happy birthday anon, whenever it is.

I'm in the same boat Anon, I know it doesn't mean much but Happy Birthday. You'll find happiness one day

there's really only two people that might ask, and they are just being nice. I don't think they would accept

thanks
It really doesn't matter as you get older. I stopped celebrating my birthdays since I was 20.

>I don't THINK they would accept
So? There's no harm in asking anyways.

Tell them you had a low key dinner with family or a few friends depending on whether your family live in town.
Sorry I don't know what to tell you, but just tell them you decided not to celebrate, or your religion doesn't allow birthday celebrations.
