So a couple of years ago, I dated for almost a year and a half a girl who was an absolute mess and left me fucked up emotionally, scared of people and emotional proximity in general and with some signs of PTSD, according to my psychiatrist.
For a while I haven't really been able to get close to someone, but recently I met this 8/10 cutie that's very nice to me, fun, and has been flirting and leaving hints that she wouldn't mind being in a relationship with me.
How the fuck do I relearn to trust people and love again?

I feel like i can help you, my breakup was 3 months ago and im having trust issues as well.

You dont magically decide to trust anyone. Trust is earned. You just force yourself to give some people that seem worthwhile a chance. If they earn your trust, good. If not, too bad.
