If your parent gets denied for a federal parent plus loan, does your financial aid aggregate limit get bumped up to the independent student as well? Like it says the amount you can borrow per year is increased, but it doesn't say what happens if you've already reached the aggregate limit for dependent students...

The financial aid office is closed for the weekend and I'm starting to panic. Also, the last time I went, they wouldn't give me a straight answer...

Had anybody gone through this before?

Your school/university has a whole department devoted to handling student finances. Ask them.
