Should I study abroad in the U.K. or South Korea? I am going to do an exchange program with my university here in the states but can't decide which one to do. I pay the same tuition as my home university. I can take classes in English in Korea. Would I be able to buy more with the same amount of money there? Which has the lower Big Mac index?
OP here the universities are Birmingham University or Konkuk University

Stay in the USA. The USA (if you are in the right states) is the last bastion of sanity right now.
If you're set on leaving stay the fuck away from the UK, that place is in a rapid decline and is only moments away from becoming a third world country. South Korea seems like it has its shit together for now.

I'm in Mississippi but even here the university is going crazy. At least it's a big free speech campus.

I go to Korea every year and it's like the US but the signs are in Korean and even after a few days I forget I'm a Caucasian.
I travel extensively throughout Europe and Asia and no conservative but agree with the other anon the US is the only bastion of sanity now and its large and diverse enough you can find a bubble to settle into comfortably.

Thanks for the input

Well honestly I would pick South Korea if those were my two choices.
Realistically though UK prepare to get gang raped by Muslims, and South Korea get prepared to be gunned down by Chinese and North Koreans. Theres really no way to win in this situation.

Is there anywhere you'd jump at the chance to go?

I'm Canadian and it's alright here if you stay away from Ontario and BC. I live in Nova Scotia and its pretty peaceful but the cold weather and ridiculous government really kills it for me.
If I had the chance I would be living in Texas, but not in the city, in a small town.
