I started dating this girl when I was 20. We had the same sense of humor, similar morals and beliefs. We were both focused on school and securing a nice future, and I thought we were perfect for each other because we had no desire to party or do drugs, which I figured was rare for our age. Fast forward 5 years, we're both out of school. We both have jobs but she works nights. Because of this we saw less of each other, but still hung out as much as we can. However, she begins catching up with some old friends from high school and they're into a ... less fulfilling life than I prefer. Into drugs, parties, raves, while mooching all of their money from their parents (still) or spending every dime they make from their minimum wage jobs to fuel their lifestyle. My girlfriend started doing more and more drugs, escalating to M and coke, despite my disapproval. I never really put my foot down though, and figured if this was just a phase or some shit I would simply wait it out. She remained loyal to me for the entire relationship, as far as I know.
About six months after the start of this phase she broke up with me. At first she said it was because she wanted kids and I did not, which was a strain on the relationship ever since she changed her mind on the subject but we were talking it out. Later, she said I was too boring because I did not want to partake in her lifestyle and I didn't have the same mannerisms as the boyfriends her friends have. She mentioned I never offer to cab drunk roasties home or pay for the entire party's tab or other stupid shit like that.
I've accepted that perhaps she just changed and I'm now better off, but I can't help but feel like I did something wrong. Am I too boring? Should I have made more of an effort to make our schedules work? Am I beating myself up over nothing? It hurts that she's gone after 5 years and it doesn't really make sense to me that this happened.
Pic unrelated, but probably the first thing I laughed at since.

If she was doing M and coke, I think you dodged a fucking bullet there anyway.
