I really miss hanging out with him but he has 'better' friends now. We used to joke around all the time and we had so many inside jokes. It's almost like he sees me as inferior. I try to reconnect with him but I think I'm better off giving up.

Maybe he sees how you're living and what you're thinking as inferior? Maybe try to get some advice and feedback from him, although he's probably already given it.

If he's really just being a snob (which is is hard to tell over 4chan), then maybe don't associate with people who are snobs?

Maybe you two are just more compatible with other people now. Nobody stays the same forever, you know?
