Well you're starting college, so that by itself is a clean slate. Making friends isn't exactly rocket science. Just talk to people. Join a club or something. If one of your classes has a group project, the "meeting people" part is pretty much done for you. Or you just just strike up a conversation with your fellow classmates about literally anything. Even if you fuck up and say something stupid, it's honestly not the end of the world. The key word here is to try, no matter how awkward it might be at first. Practice is how you get better at social interactions
