You can talk to therapist about criminal things you've done in the past as long as you don't indicate you're a danger of doing it again.

Some exceptions exist of course. For example talking about molesting a child in the past while currently living with one would definitely trigger mandatory reporting, however if you're living on your own and have no direct access to children such that you could reasonably get them alone, then that is a different story.
