I'm a college student trying to figure out what I want in life. I have always known I wanted to do something related to the medical field, and I also want to work with computers and I have a fascination with computer programming. I'm thinking about doing computer engineering and working in the health science field with that. I see some things about it, and looking up comp eng jobs brings up a lot of health care related stuff. Is this kind of career in high demand, or would it end up being a waste? Is it better to do mech engineering and proceed to do biomedical engineering? What kind of work would I be doing as a computer engineer in the health science field?
