What would a therapist do or say to someone who feels like everything

My therapist would say "So how does it make you feel?" and take the conversation from there, looking at how you feel and why you feel that. And if you feel nothing, looking at that too.

They're persistent, those therapists, they have a question for everything. Mostly hard questions too.

What if I said, "It makes me feel like taking the logic to its final conclusion and killing myself."

I think they will constrain you and put you in a cell "for your own safety" if I am not mistaken. Pretty sure that whenever someone even mentions suicide they may be marked as a danger. I might be slightly wrong, though.

Depends on the shrinky person and the country.
The USA is such a litigious country that they are scared to talk to you after you say that in case they get sued for everything they own and their relatives own and their friends own.

In a more butch country the shrink would challenge you on that, and say "Thats not a feeling, that is a cry for help. Tell me about the feeling"
