What do?
I have the chance to get an interview to get a job as a marketing assistant, which is the gateway to my dream job/career. All I have to do is write a short blog post based on what the company does. Easy enough.
The problem is, the company is a charity that helps people with learning difficulties. I've looked through their social media, and their website, and all that shit, and I've realised (not that I didn't know already desu) that I really don't give a shit about it. Like, the only reason I want the job is because it'll help my career prospects, and it's the only company so far that's not said "no" outright. I literally don't care about learning disabilities, or helping people with them. I'd only be taking the job (if offered) to get it on my CV.
So, what do? Should I go for it? I mean, I could do it for a year and then bail/move on to other jobs, but I also don't want to accept it if something better comes along. Plus, I really don't care about the people they're helping, so I'd struggle to really get motivated to do the job. So should I go for it, or knock it on the head?
