I've never used eBay before is it safe to pay with a credit card? I found some great deals.
Better to just make a PayPal account I use it through my PayPal all the time 10/10 would recommend

Thanks in advance for the advice
You'd be better off using a Paypal account, which is more secure. Alternatively, you could put money on a pre-paid credit card, and use that to make online purchases. In the case of the latter, even if your card information gets stolen, the would-be thief gets nothing more than whatever you put on it.

So let's say i buy or bid on something do they actually get my card info or does it just go through ebay?

I'm pretty sure it's handled through the site via one of their several transaction moderators. When online shopping first became big, too many people fell victim to credit card theft because of sellers acquiring and abusing the buyer's card info. So these days, it's almost unheard of for a seller to get your card information.
The precaution of Paypal and prepaid cards exist to prevent anyone BESIDES the seller from acquiring your information. Hackers and identity thieves, mostly.
