Just got fired today. I saw it coming since the place was abusive as hell to their workers and poorly managed but I don't really know what to do now. It was the only place to ever offer me anything and I've been applying to things for years. Only good thing to come of this is I know I never wanna work with food again.
How does a nerd recluse go about getting a new job? Do I have to tell my new job I was fired? If they ask do I just dodge around it or something? I can give more details if anyone wants.

Called in sick. That was it. I was late 4 times in the entire time I've worked there, all of which I called about. She brought those up when I called out and got all pissy saying I needed to come in cuz I'm one of the only people they have left (literally everyone is quitting. Someone quit just yesterday cuz they scheduled her when she wasn't available and the manager yelled at her for telling her.) The place was a fucking mess. Apparently the best thing to do with the guy you need most is fire him.
