My mouth is currently a mess. Right now, I have a massive toothache because a filling came out, and I can't afford to fix it because it needs a root canal. There is also an impacted wisdom tooth that needed to be removed a decade ago along with the rest of my wisdom teeth. Another filling came out, and they just sort of drilled out the tooth and packed it as a temporary thing. This was 9ish months ago, which is another root canal I'm in need of getting. I have dental insurance now, but I've been too afraid to go in because the last time I was there they had to do immediate emergency work on my other impacted wisdom tooth because it started to decay. That literally drained all of my savings, and I have nothing left.
It feels like literally everything around me is falling apart and I can't afford to do anything about it. My car, my teeth, my eyes, my head. My lease is up this month and will be going up $10/mo if I stay, but there's nowhere cheaper, and I have student loans ruining my credit on top of everything. None of this is ever going away, and I'm getting close just ending it because I don't know what to do.

That's really fucked up, but you have to go to the dentist and get your teeth fixed. Do you have anyone you could ask to borrow you money?
is there any university where students can work on your teeth? i don't know how it works in the us but give it a try.

No. My parents are living day to day because my dad had a stroke a few years ago and can't work like he used to. He hangar to dump his entire 401k into his house so they could afford the mortgage. The rest of my family isn't exactly well off, either. On top of that, I can't just borrow that much money from someone. I was quoted $2200 for ONE root canal, and another $800 for my wisdom teeth extraction.

Hey man. I know your pain. I have two cracked teeth that ache every once in a while, my car just broke down today, and I spent my last dollars trying to get some bread, eggs, rice, and bologna to last me til payday.
Next paycheck, start saving your pennies.

There is no being strong, just a constant pain as a reminder that I'll never be able to get it fixed.

You are well on your way to a mouth full of dentures by the time you're 40. Get your priorities straight - your teeth are more important than your car.
If you have no insurance whatever, contact the nearest university with a dental school. Final year students will "practice" on you, with a professor watching, for free or minimal cost.
Idk if it helps but if you just get enough calcium and vitamin D you will never get a cavity again.

Without a car, I can't make money, so...
Regardless, I can't afford either, and there are no dental universities in the area. Trust me, I've love to get my teeth fixed, but I literally can't afford it. Like I said before, my last cleaning cleaned out my account because of emergency work. If that happens again, I'll be stuck with yet another bill I can't afford.
