Hello /adv/. I'm trying to leave the NEET life and I scored a telephone interview with a pretty major international engineering company for a trainee position. I've been practicing my interview skills and all that and I have a question.
The job listing said that occasional travel will be required as part of the job. Now I'm sure this probably just means driving between different facilities within a few hundred miles of my main one, but I'm completely open to broader travel requirements with this being an international company and all.
-Actual question
How should I nonchalantly mention that I'm a 24 year old with no gf, no wife, no kids, no family commitments, and I don't get homesick. Basically I'm rootless and totally willing to be sent to India or some shit. Is it normal to say in an interview that you don't have any wife or kids? I guess with my age they'd probably expect it, but I just want it to be known that I'm completely open to extended travel.
They wont send you angwhere till they are confident in your work ethic, most you will travel is maybe a nearby facility for special training/events. If you say all that you will come off wierd as fuck, if they happen to ask if you can just tell them travel is no issue for me and leave it at that.
I interview 1-3 people a week for my company
