I essentially get in at 9 and leave at five, with an hour lunch break at noon.

It really depends on the pulse of your company. Some expect late nights, even if they're not that productive.

However long it took you to do those essential tasks. Don't count on ever being promoted and know that you'll be the first in line for redundancy though.
