Would it be too bad for me to send a "I think we should break up" text out of the blue? She can tell I lost interest and has been insecure about it, and I've been anxious about being in a relationship I don't want to be in, so I'm trying to figure out a way to settle this already.

Not someone worth being with in the first place if every little pebble in the road of life sends them careening out of control, and honestly, it won't matter how you deliver the news since apparently she's gonna flip her shit any way.
Text her. Be honest, but to the point. Gets the job done and avoids all the unnecessary levels of drama she's likely to bring to the situation.
