>Tfw put a bar of chocolate in my pocket
>it melted
>my phone was in the same pocket
How do I get the chocolate out of my phone's speaker (the grill) without damaging my phone?

desu you're pretty fucked.
Option 1:
- Seek a professional service that can dismantle your phone and clean it. This will be costly.
Option 2:
- Take out the battery, spray warm water at it until the chocolate's gone. Leave the phone in a bowl of rice for at least 3 days to dry.
Needless to say, option 2 is riskier than option 2, but also a lot cheaper.

I was reading around and other people said they used a hairdryer to melt out the chocolate.
Would this be a good idea?

It can't hurt, as long as you can set it to a low setting. Try to take the battery out regardless if you can (the heat can do damage to it).
I used Option number 2 FYI to get juice out of my phone and it did the trick, so consider it if the hairdryer doesn't work.

Well I just tried using a hairdryer and now I have black spots on my screen.
I guess I need a new phone.
Oh well.

you should've tried to remove it using a tissue
and try to melt the tiny pieces of choc left,by warming it up a little and them remove it using a wet tissue
wtf dude
you're retarded
Wow, you're a fucking idiot. First you should have used a vacuum, followed by filling the phone in pure isopropil alcohol (or as close to pure as you can get it), followed by more vacuuming. Fucking stupid cunts.
Don't put anything in your phone pocket. It's a fragile multi-hundred dollar computing device. Treat it like one.

If it ever happens to you again - fridge, then vacuum cleaner.
