Should I feel bad for never working at 23 if I was doing full-time university during that time, was supported by my dad and had an orphan's pension? I just graduated with an MA degree.

Also should I feel bad for only getting my driver's licence now? I live in Europe, we have good public transportation so having a car is not seen as paramount and I simply never needed it (plus the driving exams in my country are notoriously difficult).

Yeah, that's pathetic.

>Also should I feel bad for only getting my driver's licence now?
Nah, I never got mine for the same reason that public transport is good where I live and I didn't need it. "It's too hard" isn't an excuse though.

Why is that pathetic? I said I focused on uni and didn't need the money.

It's pathetic because you were relying on your father to support you when you were perfectly able to get a part time job to pay for at least some of your expenses. "I was studying" isn't an excuse, pretty much everyone I know had a part time job of some sort while studying.

He wanted to support me, in my country we don't throw children out when they're 18. And he just paid for food and rent, I had own money for any other expenses because of my pension.
