I had a nervous breakdown a couple of months ago. Ended up losing my job, car, alienating my friends and family during my lenghty recovery. Got a new job though, with my only goal to get a car and move out of this shit hole(Houston). I'm looking for suggestion on things to help me stay positive and better my self. Anything that will promote a healty outlook and lifestyle.

Exercise
Volunteer and meet people
Maybe counciling cuz of the breakdown???

I'm thinking Austin, or San Antonio since I like the landscape around those parts. I'm in Houston so nowhere near DFW. I've never volunteered before, I guess google could help me find out where to that at.
