My family had so many fleas like 2 years ago. It ended up being lethal for all of our pets (2 dogs and a cat) and only after they all died the fleas went away. We bought a lot of flea bombs but overtime they came back. Make sure your pets have flea medicine, and then set off flea bombs and take your pet somewhere while they go off.

Put a wide saucer or tray of water down on the floor and suspend a very low-power light bulb over it. The fleas will be drawn to the light, hop into the water, and drown.
