Yes, it's painful at first, but as you sink, your lungs get used to the fact that there is nothing they can do to keep you alive

There is a phase when drowning where you will stop flailing and enter a peaceful state of mind, slowly beginning your rest that will last forever.

Hello anon.

I recommend you read a book called "how to disappear completely". I've intended to disappear myself soon after I tie a few lose ends, however I wish to leave behind no mourning to those stupid enough to care. I cut contact with most people I know, only my small family remains and I've been gradually weening contact off until they stop calling for a good 6 month period or so.

I've deleted my facebook account, and dont keep in touch with any friends via email. The people that know me now probably wouldn't pursue me if I completely ghosted them.

Then I'm taking a nitrogen tank to a remote lake in the mountains and asphyxiating myself on drugs. I'll tie a few cinderblocks to my belt that pull me under once I pass out and can no longer resist the counterweight. No body found, no mess, no death records, I just die, no one cares. Then at least I won't miss her or feel anything anymore.
