How to solve a "Girlfriend's best friend doesn't

Of course I thought about that, I'm not stupid, but he's still her best friend and therefore a huge influence on her.

I tried the ignore path in the past with other gfs and I'm kinda tired of dudes creeping in the friend way, but maybe someone discovered a diplomatic solution

Why don't you talk to your gf?
If i think someone is a threat to me and my gfs relationship i tell her and she does the same.
I will stop talking to someone who my girlfriend thinks is trying to be more than friends and my girlfriend would do the same.
If you are not your girlfriends best friend, your relationship will go no where. You basically have to make her choose.
