I've been interning in some IT office for about 2 months now. The job, as described by my manager, would be just to set up computers with software for all the departments. He said that inbetween that I may be able to take some calls and other random tasks. Only problem is now there are hardly any computers left to set up and I've been getting no work the past few weeks. So I basically just sit at my computer the entire day doing next to nothing spare the few times I went up with a coworker to physically set up computers.
My boss gets annoyed any time I ask him a question about extra work and my coworkers are almost always in the middle of a call. When I do ask them if theres something I can do they usually just say idk and offer nothing.
Am I in the wrong if I just sit there doing nothing? I've gotten a little discouraged from asking them anymore since my boss is always "busy" and the other guys are just really low tier support guys that can't give me any actual tasks to do.
just chill there, or go to other place if you feel like wasting time here

check in with your manager once a day in the morning and ask if there is anything today you can do to help out. Then sit at your desk and keep quiet.
I was the same when I started my new job, find the right balance between doing nothing and doing what you've been asked. Once your boss realizes your competence he will delegate more to you. Hopefully.
