Someone please tell me exactly what to do to fix my green pool. It's 15' diameter 48 inches deep, 5000 gallons. About 3 weeks ago I woke up and it was blue-green (not extreme green) I triple shocked it (added enough shock to treat 15,000 gallons), let it sit for a while. After a while it not opaque or cloudy but blue but with all this shit on the bottom/sides

That part is easy, the hard part is getting this shit out of my pool. It's a shitty intex pool so I can't attatch a vaccuum to it. I have this expensive robotic vaccum that was donated to me but it gets some stuff but kicks a lot of shit up and just makes it cloudy again! Ive scrubbed every square inch of it before bed let the pump run over night and cleaned the filter but most of the shit passes right through. Someone help!!!!!

ph and alkality are on point btw

Do you have to be rich in the US to have your own pool? Or isit just middle class and you can get a house with a pool?

used to be just middle class, depends on where you're talking about now, it's a big country

Get a test kit that checks cyanuric acid. If this is low UV light quickly burns through any free chlorine you add to the pool and shocking it is not going to do a damn thing.

Once you have cyanuric acid levels in Check shock the pool, let it sit for about 24 hours. Now vacuum the sides and bottom of the pool with an external pump that discharges the water out of the pool instead of back into the system.

Repeat process as necessary

check the filter sand. there might not be enough.

When you say you are shocking it are you just using chlorine? Using muriatic acid before is better

Take a pitcher you will never use again, bring it in to your local pool specialist store. Not Home Depot. You need proffessional help. They can test the water you bring in and recommend stuff better than any anon here can.
