There was an incident on a Finnish board a long time ago where anon took a picture from his window with a rifle scope aimed at a random child for whatever reason. The scope wasn't attached to a gun, but it was enough to warrant a police investigation and he was arrested.

what about if I "target" someone's online alias?

I honestly don't even think anybody will escalate it this far anyway.
All they know is my first name and they don't even know what city I live in. Not to mention I have no social media or anything for anybody to find if they did want to do something
